Our Musical Journey
The Proximity Effect Band is a Four Piece Vocal Focused Rock & Roll Band hailing from River Vale, New Jersey.
We play music of various artists and decades including; Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Lynryd Skynrd, Free, The Killers, Poison, Chris Isaak, Crowded House, REM, Gin Blossoms, Doobie Brothers, Beatles, Neil Young, U2, Cheap Trick, Three Doors Down, Stone Temple Pilots, Kings Of Leon, The Who, Machine Gun Kelly, Seven Mary Three, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Tom Petty and more.
The Band’s approach is a contrast of applying strong vocal harmonies to known tunes that have a solid rock rhythm as a base. A good song, is a good song and we bring our own creative touches to each one.
We don’t loop, we don’t auto-tune, we don’t play tracks, we bring authentic LIVE music with excellent dynamic control that allows the audience to talk, listen or dance . . . a combination that provides a good atmosphere for those in our Proximity.
